This forum is invite only.
You can request membership only via our Facebook or Tumblr groups, if you are a member at IMDB or YouTube- if you're an active member there, it will be most likely that a membership for this forum will be accepted too.
Any other registrations will not be accepted.
If you have a good reason why you want to be a member of this forum anyway, don't hesitate to send an e-mail to admin@silverscreenshadows.com
But before you request a membership, read the following 4 rules to make sure you can obey them.
We tried to have very simple but strict rules. So everyone can enjoy this forum and can enjoy being a member, without having too much stress by remembering dozens of rules.
#1 Be friendly to other members, staff members--to everyone in the forum, and respect other peoples beliefs, tastes, and opinions. Just remember you are talking to another human being and not to some computer screen.
#2 Posting photographs and other media is allowed and promoted in this forum, however make sure to:
(1) not hot-link from other websites
(2) use image hosts such as imageshack, etc. and
(3) avoid posting illegal stuff (especially torrents).
#3 Remember this is also a talk forum. Posting and downloading photographs is fine for every collector and fan, but keep in mind that we all are blessed with the ability to articulate and to express in words what we think about this or that star, a certain movie or a book. A community can only be as good as it's members, and the more active we are the better we get to know other people in here, the more we'll become a part of a community filled with people who are fans of the silver screen as we are.
#4 Active Membership.
We encourage all our members to take an active role in The Silver Screen Shadows Forum by posting and visiting regularly, so please note:
New member accounts will be deleted if no posts are made during the 1st month of membership.
Any members account will be deleted if no posts are made for 6 months. It is therefore advised that if you know that you will be away or unable to post, you let a member of staff know and your account will be held open until your return.
